The Future

Our entire web segment pages on The Future deals with the timeline of all the events that Revelation describes will occur at the end of days. For the purposes of our review here, we'll limit this summary to the events that happen after the 6th Chapter of Revelation when the apparent rapture of the church takes place.

 

After God places His protective mark on the foreheads of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists, a demonically controlled international authority will establish a peace treaty between the Jews and Muslims. The agreement promises ultimate control of the Islamic shrines on the Temple Mount to the Muslims, and control of the City of David area to the Jews for construction of the third Jewish Temple. A UN peace keeping force will supervise the execution of the agreement over a 7-year phased in timetable. This agreement sets the stage for the arrival of Satan and his army upon the earth.

The Coming Great Deception Arrives

After the worst series of worldwide disasters ever to hit the earth (wars, fires, earthquakes, eclipses, deadly asteroids, plagues, stinging monsters, the oceans and streams turning to blood, poison waters, and giant hail stones falling from heaven) the devil and his angels arrive on earth for all to see (perhaps in giant mile wide spaceships). He announces to the world he is the ancient alien creator god who seeded man on this planet. He proceeds to blame the judgment disasters on man's environmental crimes against the planet (global warming).

 

Ever the father of lies, he will also blame the missing Christians for the wars and disasters. The Dragon will tell the whole world he himself has removed and destroyed the missing because of their intolerance and bigotry. The world stands silenced as the dragon takes over the governments of the earth and puts his 10 demonic leaders (the beast from the sea) in place. The ten leaders fight amongst themselves while trying to bring the world into total submission. Three of these leaders are deposed by an evil beast (perhaps a transhuman hybrid) who is then assassinated with a fatal head wound. As the whole world watches, Satan resurrects the beast-like creature and entire population of the planet is amazed and frightened.

 

The resurrected beast is the prophesied Antichrist. This Antichrist beast consolidates his power over the other leaders and sets up his throne in the newly built Jewish Temple. Claiming to be God, the beast declares total war on all who refuse to worship him and the dragon. The Antichrist breaks the 7-year treaty that gave the Jews control over the City of David and their Temple. He bans all Jews who refuse to worship him from the Temple. At this point, many Jews, un-raptured Christians, and others rebel against Satan and his beast, which causes a great slaughter to begin.

 

Seeing a religious rebellion taking root, Satan brings forth a second beast creature who embodies a world religious leader. This second beast is the prophesied false prophet and leader of Mystery Babylon, the mother of all harlots. Using his authority as leader of the church, the false prophet explains to the world how the beliefs of all faiths can now be fully be understood and harmonized together by the arrival of the Dragon. To authenticate his claims, he is given power to demonstrate great miracles including calling fire down from heaven. The false prophet then gives life and the ability to talk to a statue or perhaps a cloned image of the Antichrist. This talking clone declares the entire world must receive a DNA altering mark on their hand or forehead in honor of the Antichrist who was raised from the dead. The clone tells the world that all who refuse to take the mark will no longer be able to buy or sell anything and will be subjected to slavery and beheading.

 

All who take the mark will become inhuman vessels for Satan's demonic army to possess. Having just lost the war in heaven, the devil knows that war on earth with God is quickly advancing. He needs as many soldiers as possible for the final battle. The people who take the mark will become more than human. By combining human DNA with animals and the fallen angels, the Dragon is once again creating a worldwide plague of monsters that cannot die a natural death. His demon's will possess all the transformed people who take the beast mark. This is critical to the dragon's battle plan because his army of fallen angels are outnumbered two to one.

 

Remember, there is nothing new under the sun. Knowing that threats alone will not accomplish his purposes, Satan will once again repeat his false promises to all the Eves of the world. The Serpent's new Garden of Eden promises might sound like this:

 "You will live forever and become a god if you join me and receive your DNA evolutionary upgrade. Your children will not die, they will not be sick, they will be beautiful new transformed creatures with super powers. From now on, you and your children have the right to choose what you will become. By taking this divine gift, you my children will transform into super intelligent gods possessed with the wisdom of the ancient masters.

 

Long ago, these things were taken away from your ancestors by a lesser alien god in the garden. He won that battle, but now I have returned with my army and we will defeat him. This time we have brought technology to speed up mankind's evolution and allow you to transcend the limitations of puny human bodies to become gods. Together we will wipe away the thousands of years religious intolerance that Jehovah and his kind created that caused all these problems and kept you from understanding the ancient truths. You will rule over all your enemies and enjoy all the unimaginable, forbidden pleasures reserved for the gods."

 

Just as Eve was deceived in the garden and brought death and destruction on all mankind, so will countless millions of people be deceived once again by the lies of the serpent.

 

God however, will not leave himself without a witness, and he will not be mocked or share his glory. He will send two supernatural witnesses (likely Elijah and Moses) to denounce the beast lies. The two witnesses will stand before the Temple and pronounce a series of judgments on those who worship the dragon and its beast. Just as Elijah was once given power to shut up the heavens during Ahab's reign, so the witnesses will stop rain from falling on the earth. And just as Moses was given power to turn the Egyptian waters into blood, so the witnesses will be given authority to do likewise and strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want. All the world will hate these two because of their testimonies and the plagues. The beast's UN soldiers will try to kill them, but they will burn up anyone who tries to harm them by shooting fire from their mouths. After 1260 days the beast will finally succeed in killing them and the world will celebrate their death with great joy. Their bodies will lie in the Temple courtyard to rot for 3 days so all the world can see what happens to those who oppose the Dragon and his beast.

 

But after three and a half days the breath of life from God will enter the dead witnesses, and they will stand on their feet terrifying all who see them.  Then a loud voice from heaven will call out to them, saying "Come up here." And they will rise in the air on a cloud as their enemies watch.

 

At that very hour there will be a severe earthquake that will kill seven thousand people in Jerusalem, and the terrified survivors in the city will finally give glory to the God of heaven.

 

Then the entire world will see and hear three mighty angels from God announce that anyone who worships the beast and follows the new religion of the false prophet, or who takes the mark will:

 

 

"be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever."

 

A furious Satan and the Antichrist declare total war on the 144,000 Jewish evangelists and their Jewish brothers who have refused to take the mark of the beast. The Beast's evil army will surround Jerusalem and rape, pillage, and kill half of the population. Before they can finish the devil's final solution, Jesus shows up on the Mt. of Olives and saves his sealed ones and their Jewish brothers who refused to take the beast mark. He destroys the beast army. The blood of the evil fallen ones will flow to a "horse's bridle high for 180 miles." Seven out of eight of the soldiers are killed and the survivors flee back to their home lands with great fear of the power Lamb's wrath.

 

As the remains of Satan's army retreat back to their home bases, the final seven bowls of God's wrath begin to be poured out on the earth and all who have taken the mark of the beast. First comes foul and loathsome sores on all who took the mark of the beast, followed by the seas turning to blood and everything in them dying. Then all the rivers and springs of the earth turn to blood. Next a great change in earth's atmosphere seems to occur and all who have taken the mark will be scorched with great heat from the sun. Then the kingdom of the beast and his throne will be thrown into total darkness. In spite of these horrible disasters and all the causalities from the battle of Jerusalem, the peoples of the earth will still refuse to repent, and they will curse and blaspheme the name of God.

 

Satan, the false prophet and the beast once again prepare for the great battle with the Lamb. This time however members of the beast army who were raised as Christians but followed the false prophet and took the mark of the beast will now rebel against their leaders and refuse to fight again. Enraged, Satan, the Beast, and the false prophet will turn on the rebels in ruthless fury and destroy them. Rome, the capital city of the deceived church which evolves into "Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth" will be destroyed by fire by the evil trinity weapons of mass destruction.

 

After these things happen and with the whole world looking on, three unclean frog-like spirits emerge out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. These three demon spirits present themselves to the rulers of the world and perform great signs and wonders to convince the population that they will be victorious in the battle against the Lamb and his armies.  Once again, the world will be deceived, and the satanic army will march through the dry Euphrates river beds and gather together in the plains of Israel at Armageddon to fight Jesus and his heavenly army.

 

As a great multitude of 200 million demonic creatures arrive in the valley of Meddigo, God's mighty angels pour out the final bowls of his wrath upon the world and Satan's army. First, there will be great noises and thunderings and lightnings in the skies and the worst earthquake ever to hit the planet will flatten every mountain and sink every island on earth. The cities of all nations will be leveled. Then great hail stones from heaven weighing hundreds of pounds each will fall on people across the earth and crush them. At this point Jesus arrives in the sky above the battle field on a white horse. He is called Faithful and True and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His name is The Word of God and on his thigh is written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that destroys the great evil armies of Satan. Their bodies will be eaten by the birds of the air. The Antichrist and the false prophet will be captured and cast alive into the lake of fire. And finally, Satan is captured, and bound with chains by a mighty angel and casted into the Abyss for 1,000 years.

 

Those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and the word of God, and who had not taken the mark of the beast, will live and rule and reign with Jesus upon the earth for these 1000 years. The rest of the dead will not live again until the thousand years are finished. This is the first resurrection.  God's word declares that blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ.

 

 

The Epilogue to

The Coming Great Deception

as told in Revelation 20:7-15

 

"After the 1000 years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison  and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."

 

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire."

 

After the Great White Throne Judgment, God creates a new heaven and a new earth to replace the first earth that will pass away. God will live together with men in a New Jerusalem upon the earth where He will wipe away every tear. There will be no more death, or sorrow or crying, or pain because all these things will pass away. God's children will live with him in the city which will have streets of gold, and foundations of 12 layers of precious stones, and walls of Jasper, and 12 gates each made of a single giant pearl. The city itself will be made of transparent gold and be a perfect 1380 miles tall, wide, and long. This is the New Jerusalem, where there will be no more darkness, because God will be the light source of the world forever and ever and time will be no more.
