What was the world like in "The Days of Noah?"
In Chapter 24 of the Gospel of Mark Jesus told his disciples the world would be like "the days of Noah" before his second coming. So, what was the world like in Noah's lifetime?
The pre-flood world Noah lived in is described in several ancient texts including the sixth chapter of Genesis, the Book of Enoch, the book of Jasher, and fifth chapter of the Book of Jubilees. So, let's examine what these books say about the subject of the days of Noah.
Genesis 6:1-8
When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.”

So here the Bible is describing some very strange happenings on the Earth during the days of Noah just before the flood. Genesis plainly states the "sons of God" were mating with human women and creating non-human offspring or hybrid beings labeled Nephilim.
Because the face value of the words in this passage are so shocking, many commentators have looked for alternative explanations for the meaning of the terms "sons of God" and "Nephilim". So before we travel down this very strange road, let's look at how a New Testament author understood the meaning of these verses.
In the New Testament Letter of Jude, written by Jude, the half brother of James, who was the half brother of Jesus Christ himself, the author referred to the punishment of the fallen angels who sired the Nephilim. Jude wrote:
Jude 5-7
Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Jude who lived in the first century AD and was a contemporary of Jesus (probably his half brother), clearly understood the term "sons of God" used in Genesis 6 as meaning fallen angels who were sexually perverse and immoral. That being established, let's turn our attention to the term Nephilim.
The definition of Hebrew word Nephilim is disputed among scholars. The most common understanding or translation of the word is "giants". Other translations include fallen ones, bullies, tyrants, and even a derivative of the Aramaic term "Nephila" which refers to the constellation of Orion (thus Nephilim or Orion's semi-divine descendants from space).
What appears obvious from a straight forward reading of Genesis 6, the Nephilim were the children of human women and some type of non human fallen angels. The text describes these off spring as heroes of old and men of renown.
The next mention in the Bible of the term Nephilim occurs in Numbers, chapter 13:31-33. In these verses the Hebrew spies Moses sent into the promised land described what they saw on their 40 day journey. Verses 31-33 state:
Numbers 13:31-33
But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”

So these verses appear to validate the accuracy of translation "giants" as the meaning of the word Nephilim (or at least a common characteristic of the hybrid beings).
Now let's quickly examine several other reports of what the pre-flood world Noah lived in was described like.
The Book of Jubilees
The ancient Book of Jubilees, which is sometimes called the “Lesser Genesis,” dates back to at least the 2nd century BC. Many fragments of the Book of Jubilees were discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls which validates the book's importance to ancient Jewish religious thought.
The book describes the history of world as told to Moses by angels on Mount Sinai during one of his forty days and forty nights stays on the mountain top. The stories told in the book are chronologically divided into periods of time labeled jubilees. A biblical Jubilee is defined as a time period of 49 years, or seven years of seven years (to further confuse things the term "week" is used in Jubilees to describe 7 year time periods as well).
Among the many fascinating extra biblical insights found in Jubilees, the fifth chapter gives us an expanded description of what was going on in the world just prior to the great flood.
The Book of Jubilees 5:1-11
And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants.
And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike men and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walks on the earth -all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men (was) thus evil continually.
And God looked upon the earth, and behold it was corrupt, and all flesh had corrupted its orders, and all that were upon the earth had wrought all manner of evil before His eyes.
And He said that He would destroy man and all flesh upon the face of the earth which He had created.
But Noah found grace before the eyes of the Lord.
And against the angels whom He had sent upon the earth, He was exceedingly wroth, and He gave commandment to root them out of all their dominion, and He bade us (the angels telling the story to Moses) to bind them in the depths of the earth, and behold they are bound in the midst of them, and are (kept) separate.
And against their sons (meaning the Nephilim --the sons of the fallen angels) went forth a command from before His face that they should be smitten with the sword, and be removed from under heaven.
And He said 'My spirit shall not always abide on man; for they also are flesh and their days shall be one hundred and twenty years'.
And He sent His sword into their midst that each should slay his neighbor, and they began to slay each other till they all fell by the sword and were destroyed from the earth.
And their fathers were witnesses (of their destruction), and after this they were bound in the depths of the earth for ever, until the day of the great condemnation, when judgment is executed on all those who have corrupted their ways and their works before the Lord.
And He destroyed all from their places, and there was not left one of them whom He judged not according to all their wickedness.
Jubilees 5:19-26
And as for all those who corrupted their ways and their thoughts before the flood, no man's person was accepted save that of Noah alone; for his person was accepted in behalf of his sons, whom (God) saved from the waters of the flood on his account; for his heart was righteous in all his ways, according as it was commanded regarding him, and he had not departed from aught that was ordained for him.
And the Lord said that he would destroy everything which was upon the earth, both men and cattle, and beasts, and fowls of the air, and that which moveth on the earth. And He commanded Noah to make him an ark, that he might save himself from the waters of the flood.
And Noah made the ark in all respects as He commanded him, in the twenty-seventh jubilee of years, in the fifth week in the fifth year.
And he entered in the sixth (year) thereof, in the second month, on the new moon of the second month, till the sixteenth; and he entered, and all that we brought to him, into the ark, and the Lord closed it from without on the seventeenth evening.
And the Lord opened seven flood-gates of heaven, And the mouths of the fountains of the great deep, seven mouths in number. And the flood-gates began to pour down water from the heaven forty days and forty nights, And the fountains of the deep also sent up waters, until the whole world was full of water.
And the waters increased upon the earth: Fifteen cubits did the waters rise above all the high mountains, And the ark was lift up above the earth, And it moved upon the face of the waters.
So here we find a retelling of the Genesis 6 story with additional details about the extent of the activity of the fallen angels.
The Jubilees text plainly states that not only did these angels corrupt the human race, but also ALL the cattle, beast and birds of the earth. All flesh was corrupted and shockingly began cannibalizing each other.
According to this narrative God was so disturbed by these events he set about a plan to renew his creation. Here is the chronology of what Jubilees describes:
1. God sent angelic troops to capture the fallen angels and chain them up in the depths of the earth until judgment day.
2. Jubilees describes how God sent a sword (likely a metaphor for a fighting spirit) amongst the Nephilim by having them fight each other until all were destroyed from the face of the earth.
Note: It is also interesting to note here that the text states "And He destroyed all from their places". Could "their places" mean the ruins of giant buildings and monolithic structures found around the world?
3. God chose Noah and allowed him to include his family from all of the people on the earth to build the ark and be saved from the worldwide flood. Apparently Noah's flesh was not corrupted as had all other flesh that lived on the earth and breathed air.
4. After completing the ark, God selected and sent to Noah the animals he chose to be saved from the flood.
Note: One might deduce here that the animals God chose to be on the ark where ones not corrupted by the works of the fallen angels.
5. God sent the flood waters upon the earth and killed all the creatures that lived upon it but thoses in the ark.
So these extra details seem to fit reasonably well into the Genesis 6 narrative of what the world was like in the days leading up to the flood. Apparently the fallen angels somehow altered the nature or perhaps the DNA of all living creatures on the earth and thus every living thing was "corrupted."
If the Jubilees account is to be believed, one can easily understand how angry the creator must have been to see all his creations--man, animals, birds, and even the crawling things turned into cannibalistic monsters.
Finally, regarding the Jubilees account of the days of Noah, there is nothing in the story that runs afoul or contradicts what is reported in Genesis about the world at the time of the flood.
So from here we turn to another ancient historical document that adds a very large amount of extra biblical detail to the Genesis 6 description of the pre-flood world Noah lived in.
The Book of Enoch.
Like the Book of Jubilees, fragments of the Book of Enoch were discovered among the Dead Sea Scrolls which validates the book's importance to ancient Jewish religious thought. The part of Enoch that deals with the days of Noah is known as the Book of the Watchers.
Unlike Genesis or the Book of Jubilees, the Book of Enoch gives us details about the arrival of the fallen angels including their names, the names of the angels fighting them, where they came down at, when they arrived, and even about their desires to procreate. Enoch also describes how once the fallen ones had finished corrupting the human race they began "to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and even fish.
We'll look at several chapters of Enoch that reveal how the fallen ones taught mankind many prideful sciences including: how to create enchantments using root-cuttings and plants; making weapons from metal; creation of makeup and jewelry; worship of the sun, moon, clouds, and stars (astrology); and demons and idol worship.
Because of the many chapters the Book of Enoch has dealing with "the days of Noah," we have decided to include editorial observations highlighted in the blue colored type immediately following key statements in the plain text. The reader will find these observations enclosed in parentheses.
Enoch 6-12
Chapter 6
And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.' (NOTE: Like Genesis and Jubilees, here Enoch describes the fallen angels defiling themselves with earth women to specifically make children for themselves). And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. (NOTE: Here Enoch describes how 200 evil angels materialized on earth arriving at Mt. Hermon during the lifetime of Jared. The bible states that Jared was born when Adam was 460 years old, and died when Noah was 366 years old. This would have been Adam's 1422 year. Adam died at 931 years of age. The flood happened 235 years after Jared died. So the fallen angels had as much as 1196 years to corrupt the earth. The flood happened in Adam's calender year 1657). And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.
Chapter 7
And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: (Note: Here Enoch describes how the fallen ones taught humans the forbidden sciences). Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. (NOTE: The human women had offspring that were giants who consumed all the humans food supply and then began eating the humans).Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.
Chapter 8
And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all colouring tinctures. (NOTE: Here the fallen angel Azazel taught men to make metal weapons of war, makeup, jewelry, and forbidden pharmacology). And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . (NOTE: Here is long list of fallen angels who taught mankind astrology, idol and demon worship, and pagan earth worship).
Chapter 9
And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and all lawlessness being wrought upon the earth. And they said one to another: 'The earth made without inhabitant cries the voice of their cryingst up to the gates of heaven. And now to you, the holy ones of heaven, the souls of men make their suit, saying, "Bring our cause before the Most High."' And they said to the Lord of the ages: 'Lord of lords, God of gods, King of kings, and God of the ages, the throne of Thy glory (standeth) unto all the generations of the ages, and Thy name holy and glorious and blessed unto all the ages! Thou hast made all things, and power over all things hast Thou: and all things are naked and open in Thy sight, and Thou seest all things, and nothing can hide itself from Thee. Thou seest what Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which men were striving to learn: And Semjaza, to whom Thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates. And they have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with the women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. And the women have borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. (NOTE: Here the good angels discuss the sins of the fallen ones including teaching the eternal secrets of heaven, forbidden cross breeding, and other unnamed secret sins). And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended: and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are wrought on the earth. And Thou knowest all things before they come to pass, and Thou seest these things and Thou dost suffer them, and Thou dost not say to us what we are to do to them in regard to these.'
Chapter 10
Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him: 'Go to Noah and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. And now instruct him that he may escape and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world.' And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: (NOTE: Here God orders the good angels to cast Azazel into the depths of the earth bound in darkness until Judgment Day) and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the day of the great judgment he shall be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.' (NOTE: God orders the earth to be healed from the PLAGUE made by the fallen angels. We are told Azazel and the other angels taught mankind secret sinful things that corrupted the whole earth). And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy the children of the Watchers from amongst men: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle: for length of days shall they not have. And no request that they make of thee shall be granted unto their fathers on their behalf; for they hope to live an eternal life, and that each one of them will live five hundred years.' (NOTE: Here Enoch describes the fallen angels' desire to have eternal life for their offspring). And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgment and of their consummation, till the judgment that is for ever and ever is consummated. (NOTE: Here Enoch describes how part of God's judgment of the fallen angels was the pain of seeing their children die by killing each other). In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all generations. (NOTE: Here we are told that whoever dies and is judged condemned by God for their actions, will from that time on be bound up in darkness with the souls of the evil fallen angels). And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end: and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: and it shall prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth' shall be planted in truth and joy for evermore.
And then shall all the righteous escape,
And shall live till they beget thousands of children
And all the days of their youth and their old age
Shall they complete in peace.
And then shall the whole earth be tilled in righteousness, and shall all be planted with trees and be full of blessing. And all desirable trees shall be planted on it, and they shall plant vines on it: and the vine which they plant thereon shall yield wine in abundance, and as for all the seed which is sown thereon each measure shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil. And cleanse thou the earth from all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all godlessness: and all the uncleanness that is wrought upon the earth destroy from off the earth. And all the children of men shall become righteous, and all nations shall offer adoration and shall praise Me, and all shall worship Me. And the earth shall be cleansed from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all punishment, and from all torment, and I will never again send upon it from generation to generation and for ever.
Chapter 11
And in those days I will open the store chambers of blessing which are in the heaven, so as to send them down upon the earth over the work and labor of the children of men. And truth and peace shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world and throughout all the generations of men.'
Chapter 12
Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was hidden, and where he abode, and what had become of him. And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the holy ones. And I Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! the Watchers called me -Enoch the scribe- and said to me: 'Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, declare to the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives: "Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth: And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin: and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children, The murder of their beloved ones shall they see, and over the destruction of their children shall they lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain."' (NOTE: Here Enoch again describes how part of the fallen angels judgment is the pain of seeing their children die by killing each other. Also we are told that the fallen angels received eternal damnation as punishment for their sins).
Chapter 15
And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice. And go, say to the Watchers of heaven, who have sent thee to intercede for them: "You should intercede" for men, and not men for you: Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children of earth, and begotten giants sons? And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die and perish. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth. But you were formerly spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling. (NOTE: Here is the full indictment against the fallen angels. Notice here they are accused of defiling themselves with the blood of women. They lusted after the flesh and blood of the mortal women. We are told they begot their Nephilim children with the blood of flesh). And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin; they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them. (NOTE: Here we are told the souls of all the Nephilim became demon spirits dwelling on the earth who will harm and torment mankind until the final judgment of all things. The bodiless demon spirits of the Nephilim long for bodies to possess to satisfy their hunger).
Chapter 19
And Uriel said to me: 'Here shall stand the angels who have connected themselves with women, and their spirits assuming many different forms are defiling mankind and shall lead them astray into sacrificing to demons as gods, till the day of the great judgment in which they shall be judged till they are made an end of. And the women also of the angels who went astray shall become sirens.' And I, Enoch, alone saw the vision, the ends of all things: and no man shall see as I have seen. (NOTE: Here the fallen angels teach demon worship, and the women they mated with are cursed to become "sirens". A Siren is described in Greek mythology as a creature who looked like beautiful woman, but was really man-eating beast).
What have we learned from the Book of Enoch?
The extra details from the Book of Watchers in the ancient writings attributed to the prophet Enoch elaborate quite a bit on the the Genesis 6 narrative of what the world was like in the days leading up to the flood. Chapter 6 describes how 200 evil angels came to Earth at Mt. Hermon during the lifetime of Jared and had as much as 1,196 years to infect the planet. These angels bound themselves with a oath to each break God's laws and mate with human women to create offspring for themselves. By the time of the flood they had corrupted the entire planet and caused God to regret ever creating mankind.
We are told the fallen angels used "secret heavenly sciences" to somehow altered the DNA of all living creatures on the earth. Chapter 10 tells us that these actions resulted in a "plague" that corrupted all things. In Chapter 15 we learn that the fallen angels lusted after blood and used the blood of women to created monster hybrid beings. The giant creatures that resulted from the unholy "plague" consumed all mankind's food sources and then began eating humans and animals alike.
Elaborating on the Jubilees' narrative, Chapter 7 of Enoch specifically describes the Nephilim sins as drinking blood, and cannibalism. God cursed the Nephilim by giving them a spirit causing them to kill each other and then their souls were condemned to forever roam the earth as demon spirits who hunger and thirst without ever being able to satisfy themselves. We are told these demonic beings spend all their time trying to trick, torment, and destroy mankind.
In Chapter 8 we also learn of the additional sins of the fallen angels, which included teaching mankind how to make metal weapons, makeup, jewelry, pharmacology, root-cuttings, the resolving of enchantments, astrology, reading signs in the moon, earth, and sun, and the worshiping of demon spirits. As punishment for these sins, we are told that then the fallen angels were bound and chained and locked up in the bowels of the earth until the final judgment of all things. But before being chained in darkness, God punished the fallen angels by having them watch their offspring--the giant Nephilim -- kill each other.
The ancient Hebrew Book of Jasher describes what the pre-flood world Noah lived in was like.
The Book of Jasher
The book of Jasher is mentioned as an source of reliable information in the Bible books Joshua 10:13, 2 Samuel 1:18, and 2 Timothy 3:8. Below we find a strange and interesting reference to what was going on prior to the flood during the days of Noah.
Jasher 4:18
And their judges and rulers went to the daughters of men and took their wives by force from their husbands according to their choice, and the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and taught the mixture of animals of one species with the other, in order therewith to provoke the Lord; and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all men and all animals.
So here in the Book of Jasher, (which is at least 3500 years old -- as old or even older than the book of Joshua) we have a narrative similar to those in Enoch and Jubilees that describes the mixing, crossbreeding, or genetic altering of the DNA which caused all living creatures on the earth to considered "corrupted." Only those animals and people that were on the Ark were considered uncorrupted or perfect in their generation.

The Days of Noah
After examining the ancient accounts of the strange pre-flood events on earth during the lifetime of Noah, we have learned that all living flesh was genetically altered by evil angels during the lifetime of Jared, Adam’s great, great, great grandson. Sometime between Jared’s birth in Adam’s 460th year and the great flood which happened in what would have been Adam’s 1460th year, 200 fallen angels descended to earth at Mt. Herman and committed themselves with an oath to pollute mankind’s bloodline by mating with human women. The evil angels had up to 1100 years to completely corrupt the entire planet. The result of their sinful actions was the creation of hybrid beings called Nephilim, or the giants.
The angels also violated the cattle, birds, reptiles, fish, crawling creatures and even the trees and plants. The creations of the fallen ones consumed all mankind’s natural food supplies and then began eating man and each other. During the days of Noah, the fallen angels taught mankind the forbidden sciences of astrology, necromancy (communicating with the dead), sorcery, war machinery, idolatry, root cutting, cosmetology, and the genetic cross breeding of different species of animals and people. These actions created a plague on the earth that infected all living things except those passengers God choose to be with Noah on the ark.
God used the worldwide flood to cleanse the planet and reboot his creation.
After watching their offspring kill each other before the flood, the fallen angels were caught and chained up in the dark bowels of the earth until judgment day by the angels led by Michael and Gabriel. God condemned the souls of the dead Nephilim to forever roam the earth as disembodied demon spirits. The Nephilim spirits hate mankind and live in jealousy of man’s ability to eat, drink, and satisfy their hunger.

Somewhere between 3654 BC and 2692 BC, 200 extraterrestrial beings opened an inter-dimensional portal at Mt. Herman and materialized on the earth to mankind during Jared’s lifetime.
The aliens abducted 200 women and impregnated them with hybrid creatures of giant size and power known as the Nephilim. Using superior technological knowledge, the extraterrestrials conducted DNA-altering genetic experiments on earth’s animals which created a worldwide plague of gigantism. The animals infected with the extraterrestrial plague would later be labeled as dinosaurs. The giant creatures quickly multiplied upon the face of the earth and dominated their environments to the point of exhausting the food supplies and began eating the humans and cannibalizing each other.
Early during their initial revealing, the aliens taught mankind the secrets of genetic species cross breeding which resulted in half man, half animal monsters upon the earth. They demanded the humans worship them as Gods and established giant architectural sites throughout the earth for star gates and temples. The aliens taught the humans how to create weapons of metal, to understand and chart the movements of the constellations, channel spirits of dead, as well as divination and the black arts.
At zenith of the alien beings’ evolutionary terrestrial renewal efforts, an environmental disaster occurred when a worldwide flood resulted in the death of the dinosaurs, and all living flesh except those encapsulated in Noah’s Ark. Many scientists believe the flood was the result of a giant asteroid impact hitting in the Yucatán Peninsula, ultimately triggering the disaster. Prior to the disaster, the extraterrestrials disappeared into another dimension.
